You are responsible for safeguarding your account and password. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

3. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of the content you create on our service, including the descriptions for personas and the initial topics for debates ("User Content"). However, by creating User Content, you grant Virtual Opinions a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display that content as necessary to provide and improve the service.

By creating content, you warrant that it complies with all applicable laws and our Acceptable Use Policy. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms without notice.

4. Data Privacy & GDPR

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We collect personal data such as your email address and the content you create solely for the purpose of providing and improving our service. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, or request deletion of your personal data. 5. Cookie Policy

Our website uses a limited number of essential "cookies" to function correctly. Specifically, we use a secure token stored in your browser's local storage to keep you logged in during your session. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.

6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Virtual Opinions platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The opinions generated by the AI personas are for informational and exploratory purposes only and do not represent factual statements or the views of the platform's creators. We are not liable for any damages that may arise from your use of the service.

7. AI-Generated Content & Data Storage

Virtual Opinions is a collaborative platform where:

• Personas you create become part of our shared library (unless marked private)
• Conversations you save can be continued by other users
• AI-generated responses are retained as part of saved conversations
• Your contributions help build a richer platform for all users

We store this content indefinitely to enable the platform's collaborative features. You may delete your own conversations at any time, but personas marked as public remain available for community use as per Section 3.

We do not use your content to train AI models. The AI opinions are generated via secure API connections to third-party LLM providers (currently Google Gemini) who process requests in accordance with their own privacy policies.

8. Acceptable Use & Content Moderation

You agree not to use Virtual Opinions to:

• Create personas that impersonate real individuals without consent
• Generate content that is hateful, harassing, or discriminatory
• Promote violence, illegal activities such as, but not limited to, child sexual exploitation, or harm to individuals or groups
• Create sexually explicit or inappropriate content
• Spread misinformation deliberately designed to cause harm
• Attempt to circumvent AI safety measures or prompt injection attacks

We reserve the right to:

• Remove content that violates these guidelines
• Suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate policies
• Report illegal content to appropriate authorities
• Implement automated and manual content review processes

While our AI providers have built-in safety measures, we maintain additional platform-level moderation. Content that bypasses AI safety filters but violates our community standards will still be removed.
